It's probably the most useful 3D game card mentioned too. Almost every version of Rage was used in mobile applications, but there were also some special versions of these chips which were optimized for this. ulltra Xpert is Rage with a bit memory bus, I believe. Anyone have any experience with this? Other's say a Rage Pro driver found those for Win3 no problem, will work fine, you just won't get a lot of the advanced features of the Pro chipset. Rage LT aka Mach64 LT was often implemented on motherboards and in mobile ppro like notebook computers. Never tried Win 3. Despite the poor introduction, the name Rage Pro Turbo stuck, and eventually ATI was able to release updated versions of the driver which granted a visible performance increase in games, however this was still not enough to garner much interest from PC enthusiasts.

Aside from the VR chip's lower price-point, the main difference was that the former was a full bit design, while the VR, still a bit processor internally, used xprrt-2000 bit external memory interface. So everything seems to be looking up.
The Rage Pro graphics accelerator was the final revision of the Rage architecture and last use of the Rage brand. Supposedly they have the best analog signal quality of display cards of that era. The other 7 games were fixed with the pfo fix, another TSR, but I could have lived with that.
